FIRST NOTIFICATION 35 WELDING ENGINEER COURSE & EXAMINATION/RE-EXAMINATION (MALAYSIA) 2026/1 – MAY PROGRAM WELDING ENGINEER (WE) & ASSOCIATE WELDING ENGINEER (AWE) 04 – 11 May 2026 Closing Date: 20 April 2026 (Lecture: 04 – 10 May 2026) ; Examination/Reexam: 11 May 2026) Venue: MWJS Training Centre, BANDAR BARU BANGI, Selangor. The Malaysian Welding and Joining Society (MWJS) in partnership with the Japan Welding Engineering Society (JWES) will be conducting certification courses and examinations leading to the status of certified WELDING ENGINEER and ASSOCIATE WELDING ENGINEER. The course and assessment examination is based on and meets the requirements of: JWES Standard WES 8103: 2008-Standard for Certification of Welding Coordination Personnel with reference to a. ISO 3834-Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials b. ISO 14731-Welding Coordination – Tasks and Responsibilities Both courses for ASSOCIATE WELDING ENGINEER (AWE) AND WELDING ENGINEER (WE) will be held at MWJS Training Centre, BANDAR BARU BANGI, Selangor.
